Location: Staten Island, NY
A scaled-down SCARED! Crew tackled the 75-acre plot of land which contained over a dozen buildings in various stages of decay. Stretching their urban exploration muscles, Brian and Chris explored several buildings on their own as well as with the group. Rumors were difficult to substantiate given the condition of the buildings, the massive growth of foliage surrounding and enveloping the buildings as well as the exposure to the elements, since many of the roofs had collapsed. Also, the lack of scientific equipment forced the crew to rely mostly on their senses.
Rumored Activity: People who have visited this location have often reported strange noises from inside many of the buildings; they have claimed to feelings of "being watched" by an unknown presence; several people have admitted to seeing ghostly apparitions wandering about in flowing hospital gowns; this location is also one of several on the island where rumors of alleged Occultist rituals have taken place, reports of disemboweled animals hanging from trees limbs about the surrounding area
The episode served as a rallying cry for local government to address the possible landmark status of the grounds and the proposed cleanup of the area. Presently, those issues are still unresolved.
